CFA Charter Awards Ceremony – Hyderabad

IAIP & CFA Institute India organized a CFA Charter Awards ceremony on Nov 18th, 2016 in Hyderabad to felicitate new CFA Charter holders and Level III pass out. The event was well attended and a first of such experience for most attendees.

The event started with an address from Vanitha Datala, Deputy Chairwoman, Indian Women Network (IWN-CII), Southern Region, on Women in Investment profession. She discussed on the challenges the women face in their profession and how the changing roles of women can have positive impact on society. This was followed with the talk by T Muralidharan, Chairman, TMI Group, on career guidance. He focused on the practical aspects of recruitment, what an employer looks for in a potential employee and how can one differentiate himself/herself in the job market. This was particularly useful for new charter holders and level III pass out, as most of them would hit the job market soon or would look for major career progression.

This was followed up with presentation by IAIP and CFA society representatives Saurav Mishra CFA, Director, IAIP and Arati Porwal, Director Society Relations, India, CFA Institute India on the activities of CFA society and the membership benefits of same. Post that, the environment was lighten up when the new charter holders and their spouses shared the experience of their successful journey.
