Vinay Manchanda
Vinay is a Managing Director in the New Delhi office and is part of the Valuation Advisory practice.
He has over 17 years of experience in business valuation, intangible assets valuation, valuation of illiquid securities, etc. He has overseen a variety of engagements involving M&A transactions, fund raise, restructuring, fairness opinions, disputes and settlements, etc.
Vinay has been advising corporates clients on valuation matters for strategic decision making, financial reporting, i.e., purchase price allocation, impairment assessment, financial instrument valuations (Ind AS, US GAAP, IFRS), regulatory filings (Income tax, RBI/FEMA, SEBI), etc. He has also advised banks and financial institutions in assessing valuation of companies in distress and/or undergoing liquidation.
Further, he has been assisting AIFs including venture capital funds, private equity and credit funds with portfolio monitoring and valuation as per IPEV.
During the course of his career, Vinay has served clients across US, Middle East, South Africa, Japan, Korea, UK, and India across broad range of industries, including, technology, consumer and retail, life sciences, healthcare, infrastructure, media and telecom, among others.
Vinay has co-authored ‘Corporate Valuation’ and ‘Control Premiums in India’ publications. He has been a speaker at Business Valuation summit 2019, VC Circle –Start up Valuation Workshop 2024, numerous workshops/conferences organized by professional bodies like ICAI, ICMAI, Banks, Law firms, B-schools.
Prior to joining Kroll, Vinay has worked with the Valuation practice of PwC, Deloitte and Grant Thornton.
He received a Master in Business Administration in Finance from IBS-Hyderabad and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Finance from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi.

Sarthak Dua
Sarthak Dua is a qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has undergraduate degree in commerce from University of Delhi.
Sarthak is an Associate Vice President in the New Delhi office of Kroll and is part of the Valuation Advisory practice.
Sarthak joined Kroll in 2019 and has more than 5 years of experience in business valuations, consulting, and corporate finance.
Sarthak specializes in assisting clients with M&A related valuations, valuations in compliance with accounting standards and regulations, PE portfolio company valuations and corporate advisory services. He has undertaken valuations for corporate restructuring - assisting clients in strategic transactions related to investment, divestiture, merger, demerger, cross border transactions etc. and valuation of portfolio companies for private equity.
He specializes in valuing early-stage tech companies. He has managed engagements across multiple sectors such as Crypto, Financial Services, E-Commerce, Retail, among others.
He is also involved in the study on Celebrity Brand Valuations, our annual thought leadership publication, which has found its coverage in some of the leading financial newspapers in India.
