Alok Sheopurkar

Alok Sheopurkar is the Head-HR & CSR at HDFC Asset Management Company Ltd. He has been associated with organizations like Tata Iron and Steel Company, Grasim, Crompton Greaves, Mondelez (formerly Cadbury's) and AIG.

Alok presently serves as Chairman-Apex Advisory Committee & Member-Governing council of SNDT University-Mumbai; Member-Board of governance, Symbiosis -Pune; Member-National Skill Development Corporation. Alok has also served in different capacities with organizations like NHRD Network; Financial Planning Standards Board of India (FPSB), St. Xavier’s-Mumbai, and IIT Roorkee-DOMS. Alok is also part of Thane Badminton Association where he works with young players.

Alok is also a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) from International Coach Federation (ICF). Alok is recipient of many awards like Rashtriya Sanman Award, IES award for creative HR strategies, W.E. global employee’s choice for best CHRO and ICFAE’s Global Thought Leadership Award, to name a few.

Alok has interest in coaching, storytelling, financial planning, startup building, career conversations and corporate social responsibility. On a personal note, he is fond of nature, wild life, farming, and canines.

Anjali Forbes

Anjali is Senior Partner with TRANSEARCH India and is based in Mumbai. She leads the firm's Banking & Financial Services Practice in India.

Anjali has a multi-functional background having worked for over 35 years across diverse functions with leading organizations. Anjali was a senior banker with ANZ Grindlays Bank  in her initial career spanning branch banking, corporate banking, private banking and regional strategy, in India and overseas. In her next career stint, with CRISIL (company of Standard and Poor’s), Anjali worked for over 16 years in business leadership roles in credit rating, investment research, capital markets, mutual funds & corporate advisory, and strategic branding.  During this time, she led CRISIL’s first acquisition, in investment research, and positioned CRISIL as the leading provider of  research and innovative tools and benchmarks for India’s banking & capital markets.  Anjali served on the Index Committees of NSE and on AMFI’s Valuation and Benchmarks Committees and spearheaded the setting up of CRISIL’s index services’ joint venture with NSE, with S&P as the brand partner.

Anjali set up TRANSEARCH’s Mumbai office in 2006 and has  since built a credible financial services practice for the firm,  with deep client relationships across India’s Banking, Capital Markets and the broader financial  services sector. She has been recognized by the firm globally for excellence in delivering Client satisfaction. She helps clients build their Boards, leadership teams and assists them in in articulating their culture to deliver on the business strategy, and in succession planning.

Anjali completed her bachelor’s in commerce from Mumbai University and has a master’s in business administration from the University of Rhode Island, USA.

Lieutenant Colonel Tripti Arya

Lieutenant Colonel Tripti Arya is an esteemed officer from the Indian Army’s Army Service Corps, with a distinguished career that exemplifies courage, leadership, and sacrifice throughout her 14 years of service to the nation. With over a decade of experience in the logistics field, known for the specialized frontline delivery of supplies and services, Lt Col Tripti is a key officer within the Service Corps community. She is renowned for her ability to lead elite technical teams in some of the most challenging and high-risk environments. 

Her career has been marked by a series of successful missions that have significantly contributed to the nation’s security, showcasing her exceptional skills in logistics, aerial deliveries, casualty evacuations, and counter-insurgency operations. Born into a family with a strong military tradition, her father was an officer in the Indian Army, and her brother and sister also served, with the latter retiring from the Indian Air Force just a year ago.

Lt Col Tripti is an alumnus of the Officers Training Academy, Chennai.** As a seasoned and dynamic officer, she is an expert in a wide array of skills such as advanced shooting, close-quarter combat, high-altitude warfare, and aerial operations. She has served on the Line of Control in Kashmir and at the Indo-China Border in the North East as part of her service career. 

In addition to her military expertise, Lt Col Tripti has demonstrated academic excellence in the field of **Supply Chain Management**. She is an alumna of **IIM Indore and IIM Mumbai**, where she specialized in Supply Chain and Operations Management. Her academic prowess has equipped her with cutting-edge knowledge and strategies, enhancing her effectiveness in managing complex logistical operations in the military. Her contributions have not only improved operational efficiency but have also set benchmarks for excellence within the Indian Army’s logistics framework. 

She is also a qualified professional counseling psychologist, using her skills to support the mental well-being of soldiers and their families. Her empathetic approach and professional training have made her a trusted confidant and counselor, providing guidance and support in challenging times. 

Beyond her professional and academic accomplishments, Lt Col Tripti is a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment and leadership within the armed forces. She actively mentors young officers and participates in initiatives aimed at fostering gender equality in the military.

Meghana Pandit

Ms. Meghana Pandit is the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at IndiGrid since 2018. She holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce and a master’s degree in management studies from the University of Mumbai, has cleared all three levels of CFA, CFA Institute (US) and a post graduate diploma in financial analysis from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India.

She has over 20 years of experience in investment banking and corporate finance, covering the infrastructure sector across private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, qualified institutional placements and infrastructure investment trusts, in sub-sectors such as roads, airports, renewable power, thermal power, ports and real estate. She has previously worked with IDFC Bank, Deloitte Financial Advisory Services India Private Limited and Essar Steel Limited.

At IndiGrid, she is responsible for M&A, debt and equity fund raising, treasury management, investor relations and other growth initiatives.

Anil Ghelani, CFA

Mr. Ghelani has been working for the DSP Group since 2003. The DSP Group has a legacy of more than 150 years, making it one of the oldest and most respected financial services firms in India. He is currently head of passive investments and products. Previously, he served as the business head and chief investment officer at DSP BlackRock Pension Fund Managers. Earlier in his career at DSP, he led the risk and quantitative analysis team, providing quantitative research inputs and buy-side credit research on companies across various sectors.

Mr. Ghelani has also worked at IL&FS Mutual Fund and at S. R. Batliboi, a member firm of EY. He has been a volunteer with the CFA Society India for more than a decade. Mr. Ghelani is a CFA charterholder, Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree.
