ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

An Entrepreneur at heart, Bharat has over 19+ years of experience across Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate M&A and managing Business P&L and Operations. Currently at Cipla Ltd ($2.5 billion Indian Generic Pharmaceutical company), he has managed Business P&L responsibility across countries of Eastern Europe, Nordics, Middle East and Russia & CIS. Bharat spent a good 5 years as an Entrepreneur having co-founded Piper Serica advisors, a boutique investment bank focused on mid-market transactions in PE and M&A advisory. He also ideated and incubated 2 companies and built it to an operating profit level before selling it to larger strategic players. Bharat consistently build a strong framework around Investments, transactions and business development. He enjoys analyzing and understanding businesses with a core belief in growing talent. Bharat is a CFA Charter holder from CFA Institute, USA and Chartered Accountant from India.

 

 

MODERATOR:

Raunak Onkar started in the industry over a decade ago as a Sell Side Research Analyst at PPFAS. He moved to the Buy Side as PPFAS transitioned to become an Asset Management Company. He is currently a Co-Fund Manager & Head of the Research Team at PPFAS Mutual Fund.
