I have 12 years of banking experience. When I started my CFA journey in 2018, it was a challenging time for me because professionally, I was promoted to a new post and personally, I became a husband. CFA journey was a roller coaster ride for me. It not only taught me academic stuff but also how to handle multiple things at once. Like learning exciting stuff, handling exam pressure, work and family commitments. I used to study regularly for 2-3 hrs a day and extended hours on weekends. During this time, I have realised the minimum recommended study hours by CFA institute are bare minimum and should be respected. As you go level by level your completion increases, syllabus changes so strategy for exam also needs to evolve. Due to CFA, I started believing in the quote – ‘Keep learning, keep growing’. All the best to the aspirants, see you all on the other side.
