Hi, my name is Riya Patni and I am currently managing Foreign Exchange Exposure and Hedging at Grasim Industries Limited. My journey to becoming a Charterholder started when I graduated in 2018, and it has taught me a lot about patience, grit, and resilience. Up until this point, success had always come easy to me, but for the first time in my life, I was faced with failure during Level 2 of the program. On top of that, several exam cancellations due to the pandemic left me feeling extremely demotivated. Looking back, it was my genuine appreciation and respect for the curriculum, as well as the support of my loved ones, that kept me going. This program has not only prepared me for the professional world but has also taught me some valuable life lessons. I’m extremely happy that I persevered through the challenges and can finally call myself a Charterholder. It has been a long but extremely fruitful journey that taught me to never give up and to keep pushing forward.
