About Me
I am an MBA grad from IIM Rohtak [batch 2020]; currently working as an Associate in Goldman Sachs. My CFA journey began in 2018 where Level I was a pretty smooth journey. However, Level II had many ups and downs due to multiple postponements because of the pandemic and it was, also, a little difficult to manage a full-time job along with studying for Level II. However, the exam finally took place in August 2021 and I made it through. Consequently, level III and Charter, both fell in place one after the other.
The entire program had lots of learnings for me. It not only made me more knowledgeable in financial concepts but also taught me how to handle multiple things at once – work, studies, fitness, family, and other commitments. I was able to put in 1-2 hours of studying on weekdays and extended hours on weekends. I found the curriculum of the program to be very well-designed. The content and the knowledge therein is fascinating and thorough. I realised that the key to clearing the exam is disciplined preparation and continuous revision. Now that I have cleared the exams and earned the Charter, it gives me a sense of pride and my head is held high.
