Adding value for our women charterholders has always been a priority. As CFA Society India celebrated its 15th anniversary, we approached this priority with new zeal. FFIF celebrated our senior most women charterholders. FFIF also provided a rare platform for women charterholders to get insights on – what it takes to build a steep and solid career trajectory in Finance!
The event FFIF recognized and felicitated 15 of the 30 earliest Women Charterholders as CFA Society India celebrated its 15th anniversary. The felicitation ceremony was followed by a high powered panel discussion with three legendary women to ideate about building a steep career trajectory in Finance. The eminent panelists included, (1) Arundhati Bhattacharya – Former Chairman, SBI; (2) Usha Thorat – Former Deputy Governor, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and (3) Latha Venkatesh – Banking Editor, CNBC TV18. The discussion was moderated by Ritika Mankar, CFA who is a Director on the CFA Society India Board. The event was attended by women CFA charterholders, eminent personalities from the Indian financial services industry as well as the Society’s Directors. It provided a platform to all attendees to tap into a vibrant network of women investment professionals in India.
