Jayen Shah is the Founder and Managing Director of Mavuca Capital Advisors, a Mumbai-based boutique investment bank and transaction advisory firm specialising in debt capital markets across India’s power, infrastructure, and financial sectors. He brings over 31 years of experience spanning leadership roles at Kotak Mahindra, ABN AMRO, Rabobank, RBS, Standard Chartered, and IDFC Bank.Over his career he has structured and executed complex financing transactions across the credit spectrum, with deep expertise in structured finance and India’s evolving regulatory landscape. He has contributed to development of India’s corporate bond markets by contributing to regulatory think-tanks and presentations, CFA Society advocacy and outreach, special purpose committees.His decades of experience places him at the intersection of fixed income, private credit, infrastructure capital, and the institutions shaping India’s debt markets.Jayen is CFA Charterholder, since 2003 and signing member that petitioned to set up CFA Society in India. He is also MMS in Finance & Bachelor in Engineering both from University of Mumbai.He is passionate about traveling, trekking and he is PADI certified scuba diver.
