Paras Matalia is an Equity Fund Manager at Groww Mutual Fund. With nearly 8 years of experience in Indian equities, he brings a unique blend of deep fundamental research and systematic investing expertise. Prior to Groww, Paras held multiple leadership roles at Samco Mutual Fund, including Fund Manager and Head of Equities. He was instrumental in launching India’s first active momentum fund and developing rule-based investment strategies focused on alpha generation. He led the creation of portfolios for flagship schemes, set up robust investment processes, and built quantitative models that combined fundamental strength with technical triggers. Paras is a Chartered Accountant, CFA (US) Charter holder and has completed B.Com from R.A. Podar College of Commerce and Economics.
