Priti Rathi Gupta, Founder of LXME, is a trailblazer redefining how women engage with money in India. Through her vision and leadership, she has empowered and inspired over 1.7 lakh women to take charge of their finances, transforming their small savings into meaningful investments and financial confidence. An alumni of Harvard Business School, Priti brings over two decades of experience in the BFSI industry, where she has consistently challenged conventions and built new pathways for inclusion and innovation. As the co-promoter at Anand Rathi Group, one of India’s largest financial services conglomerates, she was instrumental in establishing the Commodities, Currency, and Forex Advisory businesses, earning industry- wide recognition for her strategic foresight and leadership.
Under her leadership, Lxme’s thriving community continues to receive international accolades. Its Facebook community was chosen as one of only 130 global groups for the Facebook Community Accelerator Program, designed to scale high-impact initiatives. More recently, Lxme was among 20 women-founded or co-founded startups selected for the prestigious Google for Startups Accelerator Program, chosen from nearly 400 applicants—a testament to Priti’s mission of bridging the gap between women and wealth.
In recognition of her far-reaching impact, Priti was recently honoured with The Business Today Most Powerful Women Award, which celebrates distinguished women leaders whose contributions have significantly shaped India’s economic landscape.
After earning several accolades in the financial services sector, Priti chose to pursue another long-held passion: filmmaking. Being exposed to the intricacies of the movie world while setting up a film fund , she found an interesting niche for herself in the industry. While finance has been part of her DNA, , she was deeply attracted to the art of storytelling through films. She discovered a discernible gap in Indian cinema when it came to fun, quirky and content-driven cinema. She soon set up Ishka Films with the intent of capitalising her bent of mind for the arts and her business acumen, to meaningful and credible cinema.
She is mother to two children, Aishwarya and Krishnav. Passionate about Music, Design and Literature, Priti runs a couple of foundations dedicated to them.
