Shruti Srivastava

Shruti Srivastava is a Partner at Avaana Capital, a leading early-stage venture capital firm focused on deep technology and frontier innovation.

With over 15 years of investing experience spanning venture capital, private equity, and development finance, Shruti has been supporting technology-driven enterprises across multiple sectors, including agriculture and food systems, biotechnology and biomanufacturing, advanced materials, among others. For the past several years, she has played a pivotal role at Avaana in sourcing, evaluating, and supporting portfolio companies and has worked closely with founders across the firm’s core areas of focus.

Before joining Avaana, Shruti held investment roles at Omnivore and Acumen, where she focused on catalyzing early-stage growth in agriculture, food systems, climate tech, and inclusive sectors. Earlier in her career, she worked with the International Finance Corporation, supporting private sector investments in manufacturing, agriculture and services across South Asia, and began her professional journey on the sell-side at JPMorgan Chase focused on the semiconductor value chain.

Shruti holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
