Stephen Campisi, CFA is a provocative innovator who has managed investment portfolios across all market segments (private client, philanthropic, insurance and pensions) while also leading the investment guidance function at one of the largest financial institutions in the US. He now consults with investment firms in the areas of asset allocation, risk, portfolio construction and performance evaluation. He has published in all these areas, and his bond attribution methodology is in use at several fund firms and insurance companies. He continues to advocate for a stronger fiduciary focus, coupled with truly client-centered, goals-based investment practices and performance evaluation.
He holds graduate degrees in music and finance, and has been a CFA charterholder since 1992, in addition to being a former society leader. He has been an adjunct professor at the graduate level while teaching CFA review courses for over a decade. He is a frequent conference speaker and has addressed groups such as NACUBO, Council on Foundations, CFA Institute and its local societies, MIT Sloan School and Yale Law School.
