FEMTOR – The Mentorship Club
FEMTOR- The Mentorship Club supports women members through different stages in their careers and helps them realize their full potential. FEMTOR is a volunteer-led program for as well as by the women members of CFA Society India.
The club aspires to build a community to:
- Foster practical discussions on professional and personal matters
- Network with industry role models, develop the snowball effect and grow one’s sphere of influence
- Find a way for women members to stay in the profession, not just to survive but to thrive
- Promote “Career-Self Reliance”
The club is open to all CFA Society India women members and is designed to pair mentors and mentees to work together and achieve specific goals. Our endeavor is to create mentor-mentee relationships between early to mid-career women charterholders and senior charterholders whereby the latter can provide invaluable and unbiased career-advancing guidance and support to the younger cohort.

Mentor Eligibility
- A CFA Charterholder and full-time member of CFA Society India
- CFA Charterholder with atleast 10 years of work experience
- Willingness to share knowledge and experience and assist a mentee in identification of goals/objectives and their subsequent attainment
- Passion and flair for supporting and giving back to the younger members of the society
- Prior experience of mentoring, although not necessary, will be a plus
- Willing to commit to one-to-one mentoring with monthly online / face-to-face meetings – for one mentorship cycle of 4-6 months
