IAIP – AGM

IAIP had its Annual General Meeting on September 30^th 2014 to adopt the financial statements, reappoint auditor, induct Vinay Bagri CFA on the Board of Directors, apprise members of the various activities carried out by IAIP amongst others. Last year active IAIP volunteers hosted nearly 90 events across various cities. These include Speaker Events, panel discussions, India Investment Conference, Annual Forecast Event, Research Challenge, CFA Charter Felicitation ceremony etc.  The Advocacy Committee worked upon and released “An Investor’s Guide to Shareholder Meetings in India”. IAIP also won CFA Institute’s  Research Foundation award for promoting financial literacy by distributing its insightful research papers.

Vinay Bagri CFA has played a key role in bringing up the Kolkata chapter of IAIP a few years ago. This brought members in the region together and offered them opportunities to network and host various events including speaker events & regional research challenge. He has been active in the Advocacy Committee as well. IAIP will continue to benefit from his elevation to Board.

Members provided some valuable feedback to the board like bringing out AGM Guide in local language, increasing financial literacy etc.
