Berinder Sahni
Principal, Investments - SBI Ventures Limited
Berinder has over two decades of experience in investments and financial services. He has worked on M&A, equity and debt offerings totaling more than US$2 billion. Berinder started his career with EY in Assurance services. He worked with the investment banking arm of JPMorgan in India and the United States focusing on Consumer Healthcare Retail. He was a part of the team that commenced the real estate investment banking practice at Colliers International in India and worked closely with developers, PE funds and NBFCs across the country. As a Director in Unicus Advisors, Berinder focused on real estate advisory and family office investments managing over US$250 million in assets. Since 2019, Berinder is working as a Principal at SBI Ventures Ltd., managing the SWAMIH Investment Fund I, a US$2 billion stressed realty investment platform. Berinder holds a Master’s degree in Commerce. He is a Chartered Accountant and a CFA charterholder.

Dr. Aaron Low, PhD, CFA
CEO, LUMIQ | Vice-Chairman, CFA Institute Research Foundation
Aaron Low is the CEO of LUMIQ, an investment technology firm, and Vice-Chairman of the Research Foundation of the CFA Institute. With over two decades of leadership in global investment management, he has spearheaded asset allocation strategies, long-short equity, and bond trading across major firms, including PIMCO, Rosenberg Capital Management (RCM) Global Advisors, Allianz Dresdner, and Lumen Advisors.
As a former Portfolio Strategist and Chief Investment Officer, Aaron has managed global balanced portfolios, emerging market funds, and Asia-focused strategies. Earlier in his career, he was instrumental in global fixed income management and began his professional journey at IBM.
Aaron serves on several prominent boards, including Triumph Capital International (Singapore), Guotai Junan Asset Management (Hong Kong), and the Journal of Futures Markets. He advises HashKey Capital and the Wealth Management Institute, where he also chairs the Wealth and Asset Management Standards Committee.
Previously, Aaron chaired the CFA Institute Board of Governors and contributed to influential organizations like the Singapore Foreign Exchange Markets Committee, the Investment Management Association of Singapore, and the BNP Paribas Hedge Fund Center. He has been Senior Advisor to the Harvest Fund Management, Bosera Asset Management and Minsheng Tonghui Asset Management.
He holds a PhD in International Financial Economics from UCLA’s Anderson School and has completed advanced programs at Stanford, MIT, and the University of Chicago. He also holds an engineering degree from NUS and is a CFA charterholder.

Girish Singhi

Girish is a seasoned Private Equity Real Estate (PERE) professional with 15 years of experience in fund raising, investments, asset management, development management and operations across all asset classes including residential, commercial, warehousing, data centres, retail and hospitality. He has led investments and divestments on a pan India basis across greenfield, brownfield, core assets, JVs and structured debt. These include transactions in public capital markets like IPO, IPP and Rights, as well as in private capital markets like structured finance and co-investment deals. Girish has also led investment strategy, fund formation, new product development and market entry into newer asset classes. Previously, Girish had led investments at Godrej Fund Management and was a part of leadership cadre (Godrej Leadership Forum, GLF). Girish holds a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology, an MBA from Faculty of Management Studies at the University of Delhi.

Nikhil Shah, CFA
Senior Director, Capital Markets & Investment Services - Hospitality

Nikhil is a seasoned professional with 18 years of experience across the hospitality and banking sectors. He specializes in hotel transactions, working with properties ranging from budget hotels to upscale resorts and service apartments. Nikhil's career began with leading fundraising initiatives for a PE-funded hospitality company, followed by a pivotal role in hotel development, driving expansion across India. His expertise spans feasibility studies, asset valuations, and strategic market research.
Currently, as Senior Director, Capital Markets at Colliers, Nikhil advises clients on hotel investments, raising debt and equity, contract negotiations, and valuations. His strategic insights and financial acumen enable clients to unlock growth and achieve success in the dynamic hospitality landscape.

Rajeev Radhakrishnan, CFA

Director, CFA Society India
Rajeev is the Director of the CFA Society India and a charter holder of the CFA Institute, USA, having over 17 years of rich experience. He currently heads the Fixed Income desk at the SBI Mutual Fund. Earlier, Rajeev was the Co-Fund Manager for Fixed Income with UTI Asset Management for seven years. He joined SBIFM as a fixed income portfolio manager in 2008. He is an Engineering graduate and holds a Masters degree in finance from Mumbai University.

Litesh Gada, CFA
Litesh Gada is the founder of Aureus Assets which provides services like business consulting, valuations, transaction advisory and wealth management. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary and a CFA charter holder. Mr. Gada has over 14 years of experience in leading Private Equity investments, Investment Banking, Merger & Acquisition (M&A) transactions in the consumer, retail, real estate and agro sectors. In the past, he has worked with organizations like RSM & Co (merged with PwC), PwC India, Chess Capital, SEAF India and SREI Alternatives. He was awarded with ‘40 Under 40 Alternative Investment Professionals in India’ award by the Indian Association of Alternative Investment Funds (IAAIF) in January 2018. He has been a long distance runner since 2009 and has participated and successfully completed many full marathons and half marathons.

Rajni Dhameja, CFA
Zonal Head, ICICI Bank
Rajni Dhameja, CFA is a senior finance professional currently responsible for origination and structuring of corporate bonds for investment portfolio. She has been associated with fixed income markets since last 11 years, in one of the largest private banks covering origination, structuring, valuation and market risk management. With overall experience of around 19 years, she was associated with the equity and equity derivatives market in her previous stint into quantitative analytics space.

How to Set Up An NBFC - Part of the Financial Talent Summit, Mumbai
